Throughout the 1950s, '60s and '70s, George Kovacs became a renowned lighting designer and collaborator. In 2000, Kovacs sold his company name to the Minka Group, continuing to design lighting for the company until his death in 2007. Today, the Minka Group offers Kovacs' celebrated assortment of pendants, chandeliers, track lighting fixtures, bath and vanity lights, sconces, portable floor and table lamps, and outdoor lighting.
